Born in England, she has been capped internationally for Wales, where she derives her connection through her father who is from Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire.  She has previously played in England for Arsenal, Coventry City, Bristol Academy/City, Birmingham City, Everton and Manchester United as well as a short spell in Finland with Kokkola F10.
